It has taken me awhile, but I'm finally posting Mara & Cory's wedding! I had so much fun shooting this wedding!! It was the first wedding that I've ever done at FPC and I was so nervous!! But luckily I had some great subjects and an awesome second shooter (Meagan, you rock. for real.)! This is also the first wedding that I've ever posted on my blog! I haven't dropped off the face of the earth, promise! I've been sooo busy (and a little lazy about it too) so i haven't posted in forever!! But I have lots more stuff coming! She lives across the street from Ella and Jake, and her mom asked if I could watch her for a few hours. I called Lindsie, my sisters good friend, grabbed an armful of clothes, and we shot these Sunday afternoon. Ella and I had a little Valentine's mini session today. We are going to put her pictures on her class cards! =)
Then we made some decorations out of tissue paper and old book pages!

I scrounged around and found old scarves, gloves and hats to put on the kids. Poor Jake couldn't see out of his! Haha!

Cupcake Day

If you don't like to see tons of pictures of cupcakes and the cutest kids ever, then this is probably not the post for you =)
I was needing a birthday themed photo and used Jake (of course) as my model today. And let me tell you, this kid is trained!! I've been sticking a camera in his face since he was born, but this last week he has been sooo cooperative and patient with me and my camera happy streak. The other day at the library (my last post) he waited around and posed for me for almost three hours. If we wanted him to sit and play with a puzzle, he did. Stand next to the gate, he did. Lay on the ground, sit on the edge of the rock, pause at the end of the slide, sit still for five minutes while I fiddle with my camera, he did it!! I'm so proud of him and have been enjoying him sooo much this week. =) Most three year olds would be wanting to tear into that cupcake. But not Jake! Even after anticipating that cupcake all day, he just sat there patiently and would say, "like this?" every time I instructed him to pose. So cute!! Then, after a few pictures and rest time, we picked up Ella and he was still game for more pictures!
These photos just make me smile.

I walked outside, over ice, barefoot and no coat just to get this picture in 25 degree weather. haha!

Ella - I tell her all the time, when she gets a little jealous of Jake, that she was my first love =) That usually satisfies her. LOL! She's the sweetest thing!

I said, "Ya'll are being so sweet with each other" and Ella replied, "That's because it's my revolution. I made it at New Years."
